Job Description:
- Conduct thorough market research and trend analysis to inform seasonal concepts and collection direction.
- Design apparel collections that align with current trends and the brand’s aesthetic, ensuring a cohesive and appealing product line.
- Create essential design materials such as moodboards, tech packs, artworks, and trims that reflect the vision for each collection.
- Collaborate effectively with sourcing, buying, and raw materials teams to ensure feasibility and quality of designs.
- Gain a deep understanding of target customer preferences to create products that resonate with the intended audience.
- Ensure timely delivery of all projects from initial concept through to product launch, maintaining adherence to schedules.
- Regularly update product catalogs, incorporating emerging trends to keep the offerings fresh and relevant.
- Utilize Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop proficiently to execute designs and make adjustments as necessary.
- Demonstrate strong communication, presentation, and collaboration skills, fostering effective teamwork in a fast-paced environment.
- This role requires a proactive and adaptable mindset, as the designer will work on multiple projects simultaneously while staying attuned to industry changes and consumer preferences.
