Job Description:

  • The position available is within the Accounts Payable team, where the primary responsibilities include verifying, processing, and paying vendor invoices. This is a non-voice role focused on core accounting tasks related to accounts payable.
  • The role also involves managing email inquiries from vendors and internal stakeholders, addressing clarifications by coordinating with them via emails or calls, and ensuring timely resolution of issues.
  • Additionally, the candidate will be responsible for preparing account reconciliations and resolving any discrepancies or open items identified during the reconciliation process. A solid understanding of accounting principles is essential for this role.
  • In parallel, the position also encompasses recruitment-related duties. This includes conducting job and task analyses to define role requirements and objectives, creating recruitment materials, and posting job openings on relevant platforms such as job boards, newspapers, and college portals.
  • The candidate will be expected to source and attract potential candidates using various tools, including job boards, databases, and social media. 
  • Responsibilities also involve screening resumes and applications, conducting interviews using effective recruitment techniques, and ensuring the selection process stays on schedule.
  • Furthermore, the role includes onboarding new hires to ensure a smooth integration into the organization.
  • The candidate will monitor and implement best practices in recruitment, provide detailed and well-documented recruitment reports to the team, and serve as a key point of contact for candidates, building strong relationships throughout the selection process.
  • This dual-focus role requires a blend of accounting expertise and recruitment skills, making it ideal for candidates who are detail-oriented, proactive, and capable of managing multiple responsibilities effectively.

Required Qualification, skills:

  • Strong oral and written communication skills in English are essential, along with a solid understanding of accounting principles.
  • The candidate must be capable of multitasking, adapting to changing priorities, and demonstrating flexibility in a dynamic work environment.
  • Additionally, prior experience as a Recruiter, particularly with in-house recruitment for US/Canada-based clients, is required. Proficiency in conducting various types of interviews, such as phone screenings, technical rounds, and reference checks, is also necessary.
  • Preferred qualifications include excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling the candidate to interact effectively with candidates, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
  • Strong decision-making abilities are crucial for evaluating candidates and resolving accounting or recruitment-related issues efficiently.
  • The role demands a proactive individual who can balance accounting responsibilities with recruitment tasks, ensuring seamless operations and successful talent acquisition.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • The ideal candidate for this role should hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Commerce (B.Com/M.Com) with a focus on Accountancy as a core subject.. (2018-2024 Batch)
