Job Description:

  • As an American Express Customer Service Representative, your role is to deliver outstanding support and experiences to card members, primarily through voice interactions.
  • You will handle customer inquiries and issues with promptness and efficiency, ensuring a positive experience for every caller.
  • With a deep understanding of processes and systems, you'll confidently manage escalations, taking ownership and accountability to resolve matters during the call itself.
  • Key responsibilities include swiftly and accurately addressing card member queries, utilizing well-honed call handling skills to achieve First Call Resolution (FCR).
  • You’ll be adept at making quick, informed decisions to resolve issues, offering viable alternatives, and applying advanced service techniques to satisfy customer needs. 
  • Meeting or exceeding performance goals for employee, customer, and shareholder metrics is a critical aspect of this role, and you’ll consistently work to comply with quality and regulatory standards.
  • In addition, you’ll leverage your knowledge of American Express processes and systems to ensure each call is handled professionally and effectively.
  • Success in this role relies on your ability to make swift decisions, demonstrate effective call handling, and address customer concerns confidently and efficiently.
  • Your commitment to exceptional service, combined with a proactive approach, will contribute significantly to the satisfaction and loyalty of American Express card members.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • 1-7 years of experience in international voice-based customer service.
  • Experience in handling customer service (Voice).
  • 12th Pass, Graduate or undergraduate qualification.
